Based in the Cotswold countryside Sam Wilson creates drawings & bold linoprint designs inspired by her printmaking and illustration background. With designs such as Owl & Fox, Running Hare and Through The Fields, Sam has created a range of rustic homewares for the Modern country home. With her fabulous team together, they are helping Sam expand the business.
Working from their 400 year old cottage in the tiny hamlet of Saintbury, which she describes as 'the middle of nowhere', Sam has sheep at her window and a hedgerow full of blackbirds. “I’m so lucky to live in this beautiful countryside. I love exploring the local woods and fields for design inspiration."
Made by small firms in the UK, including textiles from Lancashire and ceramics from Stoke on Trent, Sam is passionate about keeping up her links with the British manufacturing heritage.
Winning The National Rural Business Awards for Best Artisan & Creative Business 2019/2020 was a fantastic achivement and testiment to all the hard work my wonderful team does.
We are delighted to have won the Home Retailer category, in ‘Country Homes and Interiors, my Country Business Awards 2017’.
“We can’t quite believe it! Two years ago we were selling from table tops at local fairs and now we have a thriving shop on the High St and a fledgling wholesale business. It’s been such a fun and crazy journey so far, and we are only just starting to find our way.”
"If you get chance, visit their beautiful shops in Bath, Chipping Campden and Stow-on-The-Wold, where beautifully handmade home and lifestyle products, housewares, and curiosities are for sale alongside their own collections. Set in historic cotswold stone buildings, stripped back to their original character with bare floor boards and stone walls, they manage to bring back the romance of an old – fashioned general store, which the shops once were."
